Sometimes we are only fed the news that the media feeds us through our television sets. Not saying that it isn't a logical thing to watch, but perhaps it isn't. This Blog is solely to state my opinion. My free-thought Opinion, which so happens to be inspired by the Bible. Will everything I put on this blog tie together? Most likely not. As for me and perhaps to many other believers of this Word, it might just trigger something that was being blinded from us.

I don't know about most people, but from what I have been seeing and hearing, this wasn't an article that made massive front page headlines. Truth be told it probably had to do with the fact that the primary focus was on Jesus. Before I get ahead of myself, I understand that there are many upon many pressing issues in the world... Most of which probably don't even make it on Documentaries, National News, or Even on a simple article in the smallest of cities Newspaper...But the fact of the matter is I am writing this blog specifically from a Christians perspective, with news that revolves around the things of Christ. Perhaps, and maybe undoubtingly proving the Bible correct. There are some things we need to understand about India before we can go more in depth about this article. “Untouchable” Dalits are one of the most oppressed group of Christians. Most are considered the poorest of all India. They live in the slums, which is in complete poverty... Without hope of getting out.
They are now not only getting discriminated for their poverty, but they are receiving religious persecution from fellow citizens and the government. You see, the government is giving them a way out of these slums, which could aid them and their families. Of course there has to be a catch considering that the issue of this article involves Jesus (Understand, the problem is not Jesus, just to be perfectly clear). In order to receive government aid they would have to turn to Hinduism. This, as either many people or very few people know has been an ongoing battle in India for decades. The problem (in my opinion) isn't so much that the Christian faith is a rapidly growing spiritual belief, but it’s taking away from the Indian Culture. Because Hinduism has camouflaged their way of life, the way things have became culturally accepted. Everyday living. Hinduism is a major part of their society, and the Christian faith takes away from that with their completely different spiritual belief. Depending upon what faith a person believes in, is the lifestyle they tend to live out.
Why is it the government is making it a pressing issue for these 'Untouchables' to deny their faith in Jesus?
And as a reward they could break free from their poverty.
There has to be more significance.
“Dalit Christians suffer caste oppression both before and after their conversion,” Rev. Madhu Chandra Singh (An elder from a baptist church) told ICC. “After their conversion, Dalit Christians begin to suffer religious persecution from religious fanatics, but also a denial of Scheduled Caste benefits because of the Schedule Caste Order of 1950, which I term a double discrimination of Dalit Christians.”
Efforts have been made in the past to get the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order 1950 amended by legislation so as to make it religion-neutral. A number of private members’ bills have been moved in Parliament but to no avail. An official bill called the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order (Amendment) Bill was at last drafted in 1996. The opinions expressed by the state/UT governments on the bill, obtained by the central government, were divided. The government also took note of the recommendations of the 1983 Gopal Singh Panel and the central Minorities Commission which were strongly in favour of deleting para 3 of the SC Order of 1950, and of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Commission which was against the same. In view of all this divergence of opinion, the bill was not introduced in Parliament.

In 3 different pending petitions before the Supreme Court, the petitioners have challenged para 3 of the Constitution (SC) Order 1950.

*What is a Scheduled Caste?*
It's putting people into specific designations, particularly disadvantaged people. These people were part of a depressed society and only today in modern literature are referred to as Dalits.

The persecution of Christianity has long been planned out from the beginning. Now, the question is why? Perhaps the Bible was right in what is said in...
Matthew 10:22, "And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved."(NKJV)
It can be verses like these that has strengthened the growing of this Christianity throughout India to the point where there are 15 Million 'Untouchables' who will not deny their faith in Jesus. Yet, the government has already made such an impact on many families, causing them to give into persecution in order to receive government assistance to help their children continue on to a higher education, and escape the type of life they're living.
No matter the brains or the hard work a child puts into his education, it means absolutely nothing if he is associated with being a Christian Dalits and an Un-denying believer of
Jesus Christ.
For Hindu-Radicals this is the perfect opportunity to finally put a stop to the spread of Christianity. It will caution people of what they will be losing from the government if they were to conform themselves to becoming a Christian. It will draw people back to the faith of Hinduism so they can reap of government benefits. They give Christian Dalits only one choice out for a better opportunity. This new government policy cannot be viewed in any other way besides a religious one. Because at the end of the day it all depends on where these people lay their faith. It is their way of trying to Hindu-ize India.
We have to think, is this constitutional? No matter
where we come from, does this not cross a line
between church and the government? And if these
persecutions continue in India, how much more of
a Christian should those be that have the freedom
to live life with Christ as their savior?
